Agisanang scoop McDonald U-14 Cup in North West

THE McDonald’s Under-14 Schools Soccer League Provincials finals took centre stage in North West Province at Matlosana Stadium recently.

Kolong Primary School, St Mary’s High School, Ithuteng Middle School and Agisanang Public School were in action on the day, the young boys displaying incredible talent in a round-robin format competition.

Agisanang Public School from Dr Kenneth Kaunda district were crowned provincial champions, finishing on top of the standings to qualify for the National Finals, set to be played in North West in October.

The young boys of Agisanang hammered St Mary’s High school three nil in their opening game.

They followed that up with another victory in their second match, this time beating Kolong Primary School from Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati district by the same score line to book their place in the national finals.

Agisananag join Mpumalanga’s Caroline Combined School, KZN’s Skhethuxolo High School, Ysternburg Primary from Limpopo, Eastern Cape’s Mzimbuvu Secondary School and

Reikemiseditse Secondary School from Free State, teams that have qualified for the finals.

Agisanang midfielder Moloi Tisetso was awarded Man of the Match, while Tumelo Gareth walked home with Top Goal scorer award.

And Macdonalds Modise scooped the Goalkeeper of the Tournament award.
