Battle of the bottom as Leopards, Cosmos clash

BLACK Leopards will host Jomo Cosmos in a bottom-of-the-log Absa Premiership clash tomorrow night. The match will take place at Giyani Stadium.

Leopards come into the match having beaten AmaZulu in their last league outing, a result which broke a seven-game winless streak.

The Limpopo team have recorded one win, one draw and three losses from their five home league matches so far this season.

Lidoda Duvha are placed 15th on the Absa Premiership log with nine points from 11 matches.

Cosmos were beaten 2-0 at home by Golden Arrows in their last league outing, a third successive loss. They have yet to win a league match this season.

The Gauteng team has picked up just one point away from home in five matches.

Ezenkosi are placed last on the Absa Premiership log with four points from 11 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Leopards and Cosmos have met 14 times in the PSL.

Each side have five wins to their names and there have been four draws.

Leopards have won just two of their seven home league games against Cosmos, suffering three defeats.

The teams last met in the top flight league in the 2007/08 season. Lidoda Duvha claimed four points from the two league matches: a 0-0 home draw and a 2-0 away win.
