WITH just over a month to go before the gruelling Comrades, Gauteng road runners are going through their paces. For those looking for a light training run, the SA Pork Kwai Challenge on 11 May at the Randburg Sports Complex affords a great opportunity.
Organised by Randburg Harriers, the event comprises of a 21.1km and 10km run as well as a 5km family fun run.
The 10km and 21,1km races will start at 7:00 and the 5km event at 7:15.

Entries close on 30 April and the first 1,000 online entries will receive a free commemorative t-shirt.
It is not all about running – the races will be followed by a fun Inter Club Braai competition sponsored by Eskort. Clubs will be judged by a team of celebrity judges, including road running legends Nick Bester and Bruce Fordyce.
