LET’S do it again!

That’s the title of the SA Rugby Union’s official 2011 Rugby World Cup anthem, a unique collaboration between top local artists Freshlyground and Goldfish – and you can download it to your cellphone now.

Let’s Do It Again – a reference to South Africa’s reigning world champions lifting the William Webb Ellis Trophy once more, and becoming the first team to win back-to-back Rugby World Cup tournaments – has been play listed on radio stations all over South Africa since its official release.

And it’s rapidly climbing the charts: Let’s Do It Again debuted at number 63 on the Mediaguide Playlist Chart for the second week of September, the highest debut for the week.

Now, as the Springboks hunker down in New Zealand for the gruelling first phase of their World Cup campaign, this toe-tapping pop-rock call to action is available for download on the MTN and Vodacom networks.

Download rights for Let’s Do It Again have been secured by Content Connect Africa (CCA), South Africa’s biggest music aggregator with 85% of all local music available for download.

“All of us at CCA are proud to be associated with Let’s Do It Again, an awesome track by two of South Africa’s greatest current bands, in support of the Springboks. We trust that its inspirational message will lift the spirits of the team and fans alike, as the World Cup tournament progresses,” says Antos Stella, MD of CCA.
