India aggressively taps into the SA market

Medha Sampat has been appointed Director at Kingfisher Resorts in effort to beef up the core management structure at the company and stabilize tourists visit in South Africa.
Sampat has almost over two decades of expertise and experience in the leisure travel market. Her international experience in the various sectors of the travel industry includes more than fifteen years exposure in Leisure and MICE. 
Her appointment in South Africa follows the growth in tourist numbers from India and a heightened interest in South Africa as a tourist destination.
Jaishankar CEO of Kingfisher Resorts South Africa commented that: “We will mutually benefit through growth in the market place. We are very positive about the appointment, and will support Ms Sampat from our South African office.”
Her last assignment was with South African Tourism as Country Manager and was responsible in successfully promoting South Africa to the Indian market.
