KAIZER Chiefs midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane has been withdrawn from the Bafana Bafana squad to face Burkina Faso in an international friendly match due to injury.
Letsholonyane injured his knee in last Saturday’s Carling Black Label Carling Cup match against Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium, and he has since been replaced by Pirates’ Oupa Manyisa.
Bafana and Burkina Faso will meet this coming Wednesday at the Coca Cola Park at 8.15pm. The match is to help fine-tune the squad ahead of the crucial 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger away in September.
The team assembles for camp on Sunday at the Southern Sun Monte Casino Hotel in Fourways with Burkina Faso expected in the country on Monday.
Tickets are still available at all Computicket outlets as well as Shoprite and Shoprite/Checkers stores around the country. They sell for fifty rand (R50) each for the upper tier stands and one hundred rand (R100) each for the lower tier stands.
