Peter Grant back to bolster the Stormers' flyhalf

DHL Stormers coach Allister Coetzee has picked Peter Grant at flyhalf for their Vodacom Super Rugby encounter against the Blues in Cape Town on Friday evening.

Grant’s inclusion at 10 for Gary van Aswegen, who moves to the bench, is the only change to the side that beat The Sharks two weekends ago. The DHL Stormers had a bye last weekend.

Grant missed the first match of the season due to club commitments in Japan and played from the bench against The Sharks, slotting the winning penalty goal late in the match.

Two injured Stormers players, prop Deon Carstens and lock Rynhardt Elstadt, will in all likelihood make their comebacks to rugby for DHL WP in the Vodacom Cup this weekend.

The DHL Stormers team is:

Joe Pietersen, Gio Aplon, Juan de Jongh, Jean de Villiers (captain), Bryan Habana, Peter Grant, Dewaldt Duvenage, Nick Koster, Duane Vermeulen, Siya Kolisi, Andries Bekker, Eben Etzebeth, Brok Harris, Tiaan Liebenberg, Steven Kitshoff.
Replacements: Scarra Ntubeni, Frans Malherbe, De Kock Steenkamp, Nizaam Carr, Louis Schreuder, Gary van Aswegen, Gerhard van den Heever.-Sarugby.com
