Platinum Stars-Cosmos league match moved forward

THE Absa Premiership match between Platinum Stars and Jomo Cosmos scheduled for Moruleng Stadium tomorrow has now been moved to the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palaceand will be played on Wednesday May 2 at 7.30pm

Dikwena are also delighted to announce that they will have another special offer for fans, with ticket prices slashed by 50% for the game. Adults can now purchase tickets for R20, while Juveniles will be charged R10. Tickets will be available at the stadium on match day.

“Even though we lost our last home game against Free State Stars, the players and technical team believe that a top-eight place is still very much within our reach and we would like the people of the North West province and Rustenburg areas to come out and rally behind the side,” Platinum Stars Supporters’ Co-coordinator & Media Relations head Aubrey Molobi says.

“There is still much for us to achieve this season and the match-up with Ezenkosi is likely to be an exciting game, given that they are fighting relegation and will have to go all out for the win.”

Cosmos have never beaten Stars away from home, so Dikwena have that record to protect. And they will also be seeking revenge after Ezenkosi won the reverse League fixture 2-1 earlier in the season and also knocked Stars out of the Nedbank Cup in the second round on penalties.

Stars have held the edge in this fixture down the years though and will be confident of closing the gap on the top eight places with a home win.
