Hope with its Launch that took place on 1st June 2015. It was attended by approximately 90 people with adventurer Alex Harris as the guest speaker.
The Cycle Tour of Hope takes place from October 23-25 and cyclists pedal from Clarens to Johannesburg over the duration of the three days. The previous Cycle Tour of Hope was well attended with a total of 37 riders participating, raising R660 000 for the NPO.
“Rays of Hope challenges cyclists to take part in this adventure while raising funds for the 9 projects that impact over 1000 people in Alexandra. We are hoping to raise R1million this year and are excited at the prospect of increasing our impact in the lives of those less fortunate,” says Jennifer Adams, CEO of Rays of Hope.
Rays of Hope will be hosting a number of events leading up to the Cycle Tour of Hope, providing participants with necessary information and ideas to raise funds.
The next event will be held on the evening of the 17th August courtesy of the Crowne Plaza, Rosebank.
