KAIZER Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns could avoid each other in the forthcoming 25th edition of the Telkom Charity Cup.
The two giants drew each other during a colourful function held at the match venue, Soccer City this afternoon, (August 3).
In another draw, AmaZulu who are making their return to this competition after almost a decade were pitted against defending champions, Orlando Pirates.
The first semifinal match at 10am will see Usuthu facing the Seas Robbers with the Amakhosi-Brazilians clash taking place at 12 pm while the final match is scheduled for 5pm.
Sundowns earned their passage through to this competition after having gunned more votes (191 384) than the three other clubs with AmaZulu finishing second with 124 372 while Pirates and Chiefs collected 113 989 and 113 086 respectively.
Tickets for this one day soccer spectacular was declared sold out on Sunday, July 31.
