MAMELODI Sundowns stretched their lead on the Absa Premiership log after yet another victory last night.

The Brazilians went on a rampage, beating the visiting Chippa United 3-0 in a fast flowing match played at the Atteridgeville Stadium outside Tshwane.

Sundowns sealed their victory in the first half of the match with Leonardo Castro, Teko Modise and Khama Billiat scoring those goals.

The Pitso Mosimane’s charges (on top of the log with 39 points from 17 matches) are still to lose a match this year, and they have since won four of their five matches with the other match ended in a goal-less draw. Victory against The Chilli Boys last night was their fourth in succession after having beaten Maritzburg United 3-2 away last Saturday with other victories including 2-0 and 2-1 over their Tshwane neighbours, SuperSport United and the University of Pretoria respectively while their first match on the 2016 calendar against Kaizer Chiefs on January 9 ended in a goalless draw.
