KAIZER Chiefs midfielder, Reneilwe Letsholonyane heaped praises for Chiefs for securing the signature of Siboniso Gaxa this week.
Gaxa joined Amakhosi on a three-year deal earlier this week in a highly publicised transfer. Letsholonyane and Gaxa are no strangers as they have teamed up in the national team several times.
“I am excited that we have acquired a player like Pa (Gaxa), he is a good player, a national team player, he is going to add value in the team and help us do well in the upcoming season. I have played with him in the national team and he needs no introduction to South African football because he has achieved so much.”
It is clear that Amakhosi intend to open the cheque-book, Letsholonyane would not be drawn into a debate as to who he would like to see at Naturena next season.
“I have heard that we will be signing other players for the upcoming season, but I cannot which players I would like to be signed because that is entirely up to the management. Most of the players that have been mentioned in the media are quality players who also play for the national team and it would be great to have them here at chiefs,” the Bafana Bafana midfielder said.
Letsholonyane will miss Chief’s last game against AmaZulu.
His road to full recovery
“It has been a difficult season for me especially seeing my team not doing well while I was on the sidelines but I am happy that I have recovered and I hope that next season I will have an injury-free season.”
“Regarding my match fitness, I would say that although I am not hundred percent, I am getting there and I am happy with the few minutes that I played in the three games I played.”-www.psl.co.za
