DESIREE Letlabola rose to the occasion to snatch the annual Miss Lepelle Review 2023/24 title right under the nose of her competitors.
The event on September 23 at Mthenkisi Health Vaccine Gym in Lebowakgomo Zone F was celebrating its 3rd installment since its inception in 2019.
The 25 year-old Desiree from Strykraal village in the Sekhukhune area who is a student at Sekhukhune FET College (Praktiseer campus) couldn’t hide her excitement about her achievement, saying:”This is is the best moment of my love, I never anticipate lifting this title because I was competing against the best models who have achieved a lot in this industry in the past. With most of the competition’s age cut at 26, I can only be grateful for this victory because next year I will be turning 26 year and this might be my last moment to shine.”
Hot on the heels of Desiree was Boikanyo Montjane from Lebowakgomo who scooped the 1st Princess title with Kgaoletso Mphahlele from Ga-Mphahlele settling for the 2nd Princess title.
To add cherry on top of her achievement, Boikanyo won the hearts of fans after she was voted Miss Public Choice with more than 2 000 votes.
Meanwhile Keitumetsi Moganedi from Lebowakgomo was crowned Miss Lepelle Review 2023/24 in the Teen’s category with Naledi Makopo (from Lebowakgomo) and Patience Sibanda from Mathibela in Zebediela walked away home with the 1st and 2nd Princesses respectively. Naledi also smiled all the way home with a prize as tickets’ top selling model.
The competition’s judges, Phomolo Aphane, Roselyn Matabane and Selina Lekganyane expressed their excitement about professionalism shown by all the models throughout the process on the day.
